We believe that every child's first, and most important, school is their home. That every child is of immeasurable value. Education and redemption are one.
We desire to serve and support the 5+ million families that home school their children each year. We do this by:
We strive to provide meaningful and up-to-date information to help families learn about the various techniques, philosophies, and skills needed to successfully launch your child into adulthood.
We would love to interview you about your experience.
As you start your journey with the Gospel Home Companion, you begin a beautiful path of trust. We desire you to comprehend the concepts that form the bedrock of the Gospel:
Freedom, Love, and Truth.
To clarify this journey, we must first explain that your Gospel Home Companion is not just another church or denomination. We will never tell you that your actions or failure to react causes you to no longer deserve our companionship. We will never reject you. To do so would be to deny the Gospel we profess and our desire to be your companion.
What is the Gospel Home Companion?
The term "Gospel Home Companion" is not commonly used in theology or biblical texts. However, we use this phrase to refer to someone who walks alongside you, offering Gospel support, encouragement, and mentorship on your journey. A Gospel Home Companion is a mentor who helps you understand and apply the teachings of the Gospel in your daily life as a friend--someone in your faith community.
Gospel Home Companion plays a significant role in providing guidance and praying with and for homeschoolers and is a source of strength as you navigate your faith journey.
What Is The Gospel?
The word "Gospel" comes from the Old English and means "good news." In Christianity, the Gospel refers to the central message of Jesus Christ, His life, death, and resurrection, and the salvation and hope He offers to all who believe in Him. The first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, contain the Gospel and are referred to as the Gospels.
God Loves You And Gave His Life To Save You:
The Gospel starts with acknowledging that God loves all of humanity profoundly and desires a personal relationship with us. He is not looking for a reason to punish anyone, nor does the Creator wish to eliminate us from His sight. He plans to be our companion for eternity. Gospel Home Companion teaches that salvation is a gift received through trust in Jesus. It is not something we can earn by doing good work. It is a relationship with our Creator and Savior.
What Is A Companion?
A companion accompanies or spends time with another, sharing experiences by offering emotional support and friendship. A companion can be anyone who walks alongside you, sharing the joys and challenges of your trust and providing encouragement through prayerful support. Companionship is essential to Christian fellowship, as it helps us grow in our faith and understanding of God's Word.
The Bible shows examples of "Companionship" through stories such as David and Jonathan, Paul and Timothy, or Jesus and His disciples. These relationships exemplify the beauty of mutual support and encouragement in a faith-filled community.
The Gospel Home Companion can fulfill religious traditions. However, our principal commitment is to provide spiritual training for homeschoolers, their parents, and anyone interested in more fully experiencing God's grace and love. We are supportive companions who significantly enrich your journey as a Christian and embrace the "good news" of the Gospel, the love of our Creator, and the hope of salvation.
